GoDaddy has $0.99 promotion which is limited to once per customer.
How do you guys get the $0.99 (.COM) domains?
Creating new account with GoDaddy doesn't help if you are using the same credit card.

You can check discounts and promotions. registrars usually give promotional $1 reg fee from time to time.

Sometimes domain.com dotster.com , give promotional prices . There are some threads here about it.
Begin making an account at these registrars. (domain.com is the cheapest between these 2 for renewals). Sometimes there are coupons (look here in threads), and you get emails from them when they have a promotion.
Do beware : you have to make an account by registerring immediately a domainname.
That domainname is then your "login". They have 24/7 phoneadvice (or also tickets and chat).

Well, what I did was sign up with GD with a relative's name too. So that's 2 0.99.

After that I did these deals:
Enom 0.99 for 3
1and1
Dotster
Nominalia (now it's 2.99)

you'd be surprised but every week or two weeks there's a bulk 0.99 deal somewhere in the world.
