How do can you get incoming links?

So how do you get incoming links on popular search engines? I am trying to get listed on google, my page has been available for about a week now and I need some incoming links before I submit it. Any suggestions?

It is advisable that you dont need to submit on the major search engines, just get a link from a high pr sites since those sites are frequently visited by SE bots..

Another thing I always suggest is to go out and ask websites about links. I'm no SEO expert by any means, but I have been able to achieve PR 4 to PR 5 ranks in the past without spending any money and simply by sharing links. The best sites are the ones that are closely related to your own.

Whatever you do, don't waste money on search engine submission services. If you get incoming links, then the search engines will find you without submitting your site to them. If you don't get incoming links, then the search engines will ignore you even if you do submit your site to them.

Then what ever site come.there u will find a directory .browse thru directory and find the category suitable for u and add ur site there . it will get listed instantly and links at those site are not even dynamic . they are static but they require reciprocal links.
