How could I monitor how much bandwidth I use monthly?

Hi,

Im looking for some software or somthing which shows badnwidth usage.
The reason im looking for somthing like this is that im looking to switch isp and i need to see how much bandwidth i use a month.

Any help will be great!

PS: im looking for tis to be free really.
