I will like to know how a person can know the exact price of a domain name.

You can not know the EXACT price of a domain . Any domain can be worth nothing to some buyer whereas on the other hand it could be worth Millions to another buyer . It all depends on who the buyer is .

No one person can tell you what the worth of a domain is .

But , you could still get an opinion or a range in which you should sell the domain by applying for a Professional appraisal with Sedo or other well-known companies .. better would be just make a NEW thread in the Domain Appraisals section of namepros and have other namepros members tell you what they think is the worth of the domain is question .

there no exact only a range, the range can be broken down to what a domain or reseller would probally give you, or a higher range of what an end user who wants to put up a site would give.

All you have to do is ask the owner of the domain what the price is. If the domain is not registered, just check with a domain registrar you would like to use and the prices will be posted on their site.

Exactly! For some people a domain will be worth a lot of money, especially if it is related to their industry, brand, or product. You are definitely more likely to get money from an end user.
