How can I transfer my domain name after selling?

I am very new in this field. My situation is I have to transfer my domain name to my buyer ( @ sedo ). The value is x,xxx. What is the best way to transfer smoothly? I registed my domain name at 1&1.

What is the information that I should have to finish this process?

I know this may be not wise question but I am scared to mess it up :td:

I have to transfer tonight, so it would be appreciated if you guys give me some clues to get through it.

have you been paid yet? How where you paid? All registers should have transfer instuctions. Doesnt Sedo want you to transfer to sedo?

if sales is realized via sedo, then you need to be in constant contact with your sedo rep assigned to you, or contact via pm sedo rep here

Do NOT transfer anything BEFORE Sedo has e-mailed you.

If you are in doubt if the e-mail you get is really from Sedo then CONTACT Sedo rep. before you do anything.
