How can I make $30 per month from type in traffic?

I am a noob at this.
I want to buy a .com domain with Type in traffic.
I don't want to be in the business of buying and selling domains.
I just want to own some good names that get TYPE IN traffic.
I like the idea of a domain with type in traffic, and either doing a minisite or just parking it.
I would be very happy if I could buy one domain that makes $30 per month from type in traffic.

What kind of domains should I look for?
(Typos, 2 Keywords, 3 Keywords, .coms where a popular .net exists)

What is a good price in 2014 for a domain that earns $360 per year?
(1.5x, 3x, 5x, 10x ???)

Where is the best place(s) to buy this type of asset?

I would go with parking. Donny with Voodoo is a great guy when you have 10+ decent domains to park. If you don't know how to find the domains, you may want to buy from others. Just be careful about the stats, and do you homework on the domains offered for sale. You will also probably be paying a fair amount for them as well. For type in traffic, I can often sell for 20-24 months revenue.

I think you have the best idea in investing on the business, but as djdeth says, some stats are falsely shown, after investing on it, you were left empty handed and full of disappointment and embarrassment. Be careful and be wise, as the seller will try to give all his magic potion to trick you.
The best and the safest way is to invest on a premium name, at least you have a second option if revenue didn't reach your expectation, try to profit by selling it as fast as you can.
