Let's say I have a domain with extremely targetted traffic coming mostly from links.
What would be the value of that traffic, say for 1000 visits.

    (10 years ago, maybe it was $ 10 maybe $ 50.

Now it varies from zero cents to 1 usd. Closer to zero cents, probably below 10 cents.
Most clicks get zero or 1 cents overall. Click rate is like 1 in 100, although traffic is targeted.

    I'm comparing different things here:
adsense on a web site with organic search engine traffic 10 years ago v.s.
targeted link traffic (if not, targeted parking service should make it taregted).
But there shouldn't be so big difference. Also there is inflation. But trying to convert
traffic into money seems to be a worthless activity. I could make more money by not
    buying a newspaper.

I had a website which was doing great with adsense, but it is down for multiple reasons, but
I'm scared of fixing it, because I may not earn 1/10000 of what it was earning, and not even cover hosting cost, only cover domain renewal, so I don't even try. )

So in short I want to see a webpage where I can check how much targetted traffic will be worth.
    (can't find by searching google)
If I can't convert traffic into money, maybe I can offer such domains to endusers and maybe they can
convert it? If even they can't earn money, everyone should shut down their internet business and let amazon and alibaba sell everything.

At the moment I don't trust any ppc service except adsense, and not trust adsense for a different reason (or just don't know how trustable they are anymore).

even if you find such webpage, it only give you ESTIMATION

You were afraid because you were not counting the risk since the very beginning. Adsense is almost the easiest way to earn money, but getting the money safe within your wallet is another story....

I need an estimation of course. Even if they give a range like 1-10 this would be very valuable. Because it makes a big difference whether I should expect 1 cents to 10 cents income or 1 dollar to 10 dollar income per 1000 visits.

I want to know if PPC is dead or not. Are people making money from PPC or not, and why is parking not working. Someone was making $ 1 million per month from adsense from semispammy sites; and I was also making good (but much lower) income from legitimate sites. I feel we are in a completely new world, where only amazon, facebook and google are supposed to make money from internet traffic.

How much is casino traffic worth: 50 usd per click. (as an example) I get 100 visits, one click, 0 cents or 1 cents. There can't be so much difference in ppc earnngs. If I build a casino site, meaning site giving information on casinos, and add some banner ads, how much income will I make from legitimate visits:
1 cents for 1000 visits or 100 dollars? (And that 1 cents will never be paid either.) Of course this is an obvious question which should have an obvious answer but noone seems to care or know or complain about.

In the past people were talking about overture suggestion tool, pagerank etc. Now, everyone is deseparately trying to sell junk crypto domains.

There are affiliate sites that have a ton of different companies paying good money for leads some pay $10-30 per lead. Find who pays the best then make a blog around that service and drive traffic to their site. Some even want calls.

I'm earning 1/100000 of what I was earning for the same thing (slight exeggeration).
I mean, people pay Google; but adsense , Chitika, parking may not be making 1/100 of what they were making.
Value of traffic should be predictable.

For example: Location, traffic type, and topic should determine earnings.
But the middleman decides that this account is silver or bronze, and instead of paying 10 usd per click, they pay half cents per click or less. So only big players spend and make big money. Quality traffic from regular people is scammed. This is what I suspect is happening.

Stick to affiliate networks imho (cj.com shareasale etc), so many companies running programs privately invariably start skimming commissions. I've seen it time and time again, it's harder for them to pull this off when using a third party network.

Traffic ppc value is down 95% or more vs 10 or more years ago. That's not an exaggeration. In the past you could easily hand reg a long keywords name and get traffic and revenue. Today it would be almost impossible.

Buying long keyword domains, creating sites with low quality spammy content and redirecting traffic to ads,.. shouldn't be promoted even if traffic is real targetted traffic. Punishing such activity is not a bad thing.

What I suspect, even if everything is perfect, if the publisher is not a corporation belonging to the establishment then that publisher can't earn much with legitimate business, content, and traffic.
So there is 100 times disadvantage in organic rankings and 100 times disadvantage in ppc revenue per legitimate targetted click. Instead of 100k, you make 10 usd. Domain can be renewed but hosting costs can't be covered. No life to slaves. (maybe there is a good side to this, but how).

Lesson: If there are new rules, adapt to new rules or quit, instead of complaining.

targeted traffic, tends to have higher CTR ( click thru rate) compared to other types of visitors, when the ads being served are relative.

domains that typically produce those rates are type-in traffic and some typo domains, all within the exact match category. though some link traffic can produce similar results....depending on the name and what sites the links are on.

I have some domains that get 80% to 120% CTR, out of total unique visitors.
this tells me, that the people visiting those domains are finding related ads/links to information they seek.

that, in a nutshell is targeted traffic.

now how much those clicks earn per visitor, is a whole "nudder" conversation. :)

    imo....
