discuss How accurate is GoDaddy 30-90-365 Data & Getting the most out of DDC

I finally bit the bullet and got DDC since I spend so much on renewals at GD auctions and I was curious to see the search data. Now that I've seen it all, I'm curious how accurate these specific data streams are, or at least appear to be in your experience?

My 5-6 figure+ names all show what appears to be accurate data within a reasonable estimation (at least I'd believe it) but then when you get closer to the hand regs/low to mid xxx names there just seems to be way too many showing 0s across the board. Especially since I have several handregs from this year that I searched for bulk availability on GD before registering. That alone leads me to believe the numbers are worthless, but maybe bulk searches aren't counted?

Even still, a lot of names showing 0s show several spaceship/namecheap exact match SLD searches to the point it's hard for me to belive the huge disparity in numbers being reported.

Then lastly, how are you utiliziung DDC other than these features? I know James said there are coupon codes/credits every month to take advantage of (which does anyone know what the current one is?), but outside the cheaper auction renewals and the ability to see these maybe inaccurate stats, how else are you utilizing it/getting your moneys worth? I don't need Domain Academy, cash parking is dead, and I was hoping I'd be able to broker my Request Price lander domains, but apparently self brokerage only applies to Make Offer, which I don't use.

I agree with the drop off in searches as name quality diminishes, but I feel like there are maybe some data streams that just aren't counted? Or something isn't correct because I know for certain that these handreg names have been searched, because I personally searched them before registering them.

I also tested searching for my own names in reg path on my phone and computer and none of those are showing counted. This could very well be because I'm logged into my AN/GD account or something?

And I think Domain Academy is fantastic and highly recommend it to anyone, but I personally have my own tools that I use and don't personally need much from DA. Trying to find other features I could personally utilize that I may be missing.
