Hotmail upgrades to 250MB

IN what seems to be a trend among e-mail providers, MSN Hotmail has announced that it will start offering 250Mb worth of storage space to new e-mail subscribers starting July.

MSN Hotmail, owned by software giant Microsoft Corp., will also port and upgrade the storage of more than 170 million e-mail subscribers by the end of the year, from a measly 2Mb to 250Mb.

In addition, its premium e-mail service offering -- MSN Hotmail Plus -- will also be upgraded from 10Mb to a whopping 2Gb of storage, which will cost 19.95 dollars per year.

Hotmail users will also be able to send attachments of up to 10Mb for the free e-mail service, and another 20Mb for the premium service.

Don't feel so ripped off now now with my paid 10meg Hotmail box as when yahoo announced 100meg free LOL

Since i'm a premium subscribers with Hotmail, I don't receive spam anymore (Maybe 1 a week max!). THAT is great!

what do you mean that 1 gb is too much you can use thm too send files and that is the only thing that i use my gmail account for is too send files over the internet

Even if Hotmail offers 1 gig for their free accounts, i would still NOT sign up. I have one account that gets spams even if i didnt give out, not even once. The username is not even easy to guess.
