Hosthunger Review - Hosthunger fraud - Hosthunger scam

I was tempted to join because I wanted to use a simple website builder, (for I had no idea how to design a website) and they offered one - but you can only use it if you have an account with them, so I got one. It seems that this hosthunger.com is run by one guy who calls himself many different names so that he appears like a big company. After a while he started suspending my site for no apparent reason, and came up with all sorts of crap explanations. He said I was spamming and sent me emails that were supposedly attached to my site, then he sent me a file that he said was attached to my site - a file to chase
credit card details of others. He accused me and threatened me. I asked him for a phone number to be able to talk to someone to sort this out becuase I hadn't done it, but instead asked me to fax a copy of my passport, and started abusing me. So most likely this guy is using people's websites for internet fraud, and then putting the blame on his clients. This is one of the emails he sent me

"cut the f****ng crap, your a criminal, we caught you and your shitting yourself, what you did can get you 10 years in a very nice victorian prison cell. Do you think you are being clever or something??? You are a fraudster, we traced it all back to your IP address. So send me your ID so I may forward it to the authorties and let them sort you out".

I have to pay an monthaly subscription to host the site and was surprised after 15 days of paid subscription to suspend my account
And refused to return the amount

i paid 15.00$ ,,

The company is the development of promotional ads on your site to earn a profit by your visitors So please beware of dealing with them

I have since reposrted hosthunger to the authorities, and I don't think he will be around much longer
Stay away - that is my advice. It is just a scam.

How can you prove that this happened? I believe everyone can register to post such things. Please do not get offended.

Well, I'm always of the mind that there are two sides of a story. However, if he really said the above quote, I think that speaks volumes regardless of what you were doing/accused of doing. You did the right thing by reporting, and you just have to get away in that sort of situation.

Yes you have to submit some proof to make it a legitimate review. But if he said like that it is not at all professional I think.

Yes - any one can post sad story and say web host sucks. I believe some proves should be included

Hello,

This guy was providing free hosting on our server, the free hosting users were abusing our server. We sent him warnings a couple of times but he was failed to fix the problem & we had to suspend him.

We have never asked any documents / identity proofs. This guy has spammed this news accusing us scammers & thinks that we will close our business due to this.
