I think they both own P$$$XR too.

Hope they've both thought the legal side through...

I am pretty sure we are both aware of each others situation not to scam each other.

He's trying to work hard for his little family just in the same way I am and I am 100% confident we both want to see each other succeed.

I would never scam someone. Just last year @marioct had a couple of domains I was interested in that he wanted $x,xxx range for.

I didn't have the funds but he said he would push the domains to my account and I could pay for them when I eventually got the money.

Within a couple of months I made sure marioct was paid in full.

If nothing else I do value my ability to keep my word.

I'm sure you're both good people and wouldn't think about scamming each other, but I personally wouldn't trust anyone online ever again. Been scammed or betrayed too many times.

You also do need to consider the legal side, especially if you are planning to develop either of those sites. Even best friends can fall out, and business partners do all the time.

Having said that, I have some names that I would be prepared to collaborate on, but only with a clear understanding of what is expected and owed.

Yes. Legal side is taken care of already.

Thanks for your thoughts..

A person who’s been successful in life with money once told me “when it comes to money people will always try and screw you out of it, friends and even your family”.

Been through a situation with a family member once where that’s happened, never again!

Got to admit felt it was brave when i first heard about this story, for 2 people who i suspect haven’t met each other in person and live in separate countries, must be a NamePro’s first.

Same time though there’s not enough trust in this world between 2 fellow human-beings, so is a good story and refreshing to hear (including the story NamePov told about Mario), so good luck to you both (y)

Be great to read an ending on this similar to how the film 'Trading Places' ended:-

It will cool to account for the gems we all own in together and may be we end up buying or selling automatically

They are potentially both massive names. Presumably only one of you is the official registrant (I'm not sure if two people can be the registrant of a name)?

Oh no, now I'm going to have to re-consider dropping all my dozens of Holo/Graphic keyword .nets :xf.frown:

I got my first ever SEDO click earning this week - for ChernobylVR (9 cents). It's getting regular traffic every day. I wonder if I could monetize it more effectively (maybe advertising tours to Chernobyl?).

Yeah, the Cherobyl VR project was one of the very first 'VR documentaries' and got a hell of a lot of media coverage which I presume is why my name is getting traffic. However, I got it on the drop only a couple of months ago which makes me suspect that the team behind the project never showed any interest in the ChernobylVR domain. Of course, it wouldn't harm to contact them. I would probably sell to them at a discount price. However, I'm not sure they're a big film company or anything, just a local amateur team experimenting with VR. I've spent a lot of time in Kiev and I know that it's a hub of VR and AR developers. I also know that half the tourists who come to Kiev want to visit Chernobyl (it's only 10 miles or something away).

I also own OdessaVR and a couple of other Ukraine geo names. Maybe I should contact their tourist board, although I'm sure they are a bit cash strapped at the moment.
