Aside from that, on a personal level he just gives me an "icky" slimey feel.
LOL.
Even if he fails, and the current versions of Hollywood.TV & Sports.TV fail... he'll still have those category killer domains in his portfolio. I'm sure he can find plenty of financial backers or VC that would love to be part of the empire he is building.
but I still don't understand why he felt the need to grab: NFL.TV & Nascar.TV - dangerous ground. dangerous. but, to each his own.
fyi, showbiz, since your wife is stay-at-home, and tuned into all the celeb gossip, news, rags, mags, tabloids... you should convince her to become a celebrity blogger... seriously. If that's her passion, tell her about the opportunity, she may embrace it. In fact, tell her to come work with us on our future site: "Celebs.TV"

(shameless plug)

Except for the "Premium" pricing set up (I hate that on any extension) , .TV is one of my favorite long term extensions really (Aside from .com of course) , I don't have but a handful ATM - But I feel very confident about the extension and it's future. :tu: Now If I could get out of my Laziness Rut and get some work done
you may want to consider getting some .TVs before what you want is gone.
everyday I see premium .TV domains on my hitlist disappearing. my development backburner is getting full, so I try not to register too much, but there's so many great domains that match ideas/concepts/businesses/services I want to launch and they are falling thru my fingers... man, I better go reg 1 more .TV I've been considering before it's gone.
