Just curious, whats been the highest paid domain name recently that was a recent reg'd domain with no website behind it? Just the name.

I was never surprised by any million or 10 million decent domain name sale. But I was really shocked by the typo of mortage.com sold for 240K!

That's not all-time. Sex.com sold for 12 million cash and stock. Annuity.com sold last December for $600,000

you could check the recent sales list on dnj and check the registration dates of the domains

Science.nu sold on NP chat for $600 or so. That was recently regged. And the person that sold science.nu registered a name that I suggested (cards.nu) and said he/she would give me Np$ and Rep for such a nice name suggestion, since it was available.

I never got that Np$ and Rep. So whoever you were that promised me, that was really screwed up thing to do. You are lucky I suggested such a nice name.

I sold a few LLLLs for $XX-$XXX on ebay. not too hard if they have decent letters.

In December 2004, four dot us domains were newly registered and then sold 6 months later in May of 2005 for mid $xx,xxx.

I sold 3 freshly regged .coms for $7500 in February. They were a month or less old and on a parked page.
I'm sure there have been higher similar sales though.
