What's the best place to sell a lot of domains at cheap prices? Is there any marketplace that caters well for this?

I think NamePros is probably a good place to sell cheap domains. How high a volume and how cheap? Also how many domains. GoDaddy Auctions might also be a good place using the 7 day listing.

It's just something I've always been interested in. When I took domaining more seriously I had 1000 domains to sell. I don't really have many domains to sell now.

Remember, there's no market for garbage.

Worthless domains are not just dead weight. They are $8 annual liabilities that take money out of your pocket and add up very fast. You can always sell good domains, you can sometimes sell marginal domains but nowhere can you sell 'bulk garbage', especially if its the completely worthless stuff resulting from a newbie binge, or whatever.

Remember that mitigating loss is just as lucrative as taking profit.

Try EBAY, you can get rid of loads of domains quick and easy. You might get decent money you might not ...thats the thing with EBAY its hit or miss sometimes.

I find that Ebay has become more of a miss compared to 4 years ago. Over-supply of domain names have pushed down the market prices of names on Ebay.

That said, it can be a good place to sell to lower scale endusers. Many people know and trust Ebay. So, in my opinion, some endusers may choose to transact with you via Ebay rather than Sedo.

actually there are people on NP buying garbage domains regularly - any coms for example for $0.5-1 apiece or some bulk deals like 100 for $20 etc. as a rule they require 3-4 month till expiry and free push to GD/other well known discounters

there may be many applications for random domain names ranging from scripts testing to spamming campaigns :)

anyway...market exists

I think this would depend on what types of domains you have, as some are worth more than others.

I too suggest NamePros for cheap domains. No fees on sales.

I suggest you to list as a lot to avoid more paypal fees.

Ebay is still a lot better than Namepros for selling cheap names. I agree Ebay was much better few years aqo, but still remember in Namepros we are all Domainers. On ebay you also find endusers or other people not active in Domain Forums.

It's best if someone who's sold a domain recently at Ebay to make a comment here. So let's hear you, quick....... :)

What is "cheap" to you?

Actually, there is. ppl who know little/nothing about domains see beauty in crap, thus amateur domainers will pay a lot for anything they personally feel is a good investment.

Most of these ppl are on eBay. If I were you, OP, I'd try my hand with BIDO. If no luck there, try eBay. If you can't sell them on eBay, your domains might be even too lousy for amateurs. Good luck with whatever you decide :)

Remember, there's no market for garbage.

I tried the high volume-cheap domains formula - doesn't work. There is not enough liquidity in the market.

Selling at Bido won't be easy in my experience. You'd be lucky selling Premium domains there. Even when you sell them you'd only get half price for them. Bido is a waste of time and quite honestly I don't know how they still manage to operate!
