I’m getting high traffic for the domains parked with Sedo.

Last few weeks I have noticed that, traffic increased more than 4 to 5 times than last months. But I haven’t found any clicks even after that.

Please suggest, how I can improve the click rate?

Does anyone else facing same kind of situation with sedo??

Thanks

I am having the same issues with several domain names with traffic in the thousands but no clicks. These are from Asian countries.

Typically Asian traffic will not generate much revenue even with the CTR.

One thing you might try is this.

Take those domains to NameDrive.

When you open an account, do not indicate any keywords.

The domain will automatically populate to regions, one being Asia.

Once you do start getting traffic, if you check you account settings the searches entered that people have been looking for will start showing up.

Once you have these terms, you can then set your keywords. Leave it at NameDrive or take it back to Sedo as Sedo typically pays more.

Thanks for your guidance; anyways I can try that for high traffic domains.

But basically traffic coming from below regions.

United States 72,8 %
Great Britain 5,8 %
Brazil 2,0 %
Sweden 1,6 %
Norway 1,0 %

That is quite bizarre. These may be bots. But, it is hard to say. I too have some that are from US with high traffic.

Still will be worth putting them over on NameDrive. Hopefully people will enter search terms which will then become your keywords.

why move them to sedo after setting up on namedrive. In my experience, sedo blocks Asian traffic. Names with 100s of daily asian traffic shows little to no traffic on Sedo.

It looks like a bot from viruses.
Do you have any click? Or just nothing? Could you share the name?

Please answer my questions so i might be able to help .. if you were talking about one domain.

What is the daily visitors average ?
How long you have been parked this domain on Sedo ?
What is the current Sedo template you use for this domain ?
What is the domain name ? so i can help with keywords.

Thanks for your support.

I had moved most of my names to sedo from trafficz last week.
Currently I’m getting 10 to 30 hits for most of the domains, I know 10 to 30 is not such a high traffic, but those names having really less traffic also getting clicks.

There is no such particular name, but still few names for your info.

everythingvacation.com
dubaibusinesspost.com

There is around 1000 views from few domains, but with out a single click.

Currently I’m using phoenix blue templates.

Thanks.

1st : Wait at least 7 - 10 days as a trial period before you try new keyword.
2nd : Replace your current templates to "Retro Purple"
3rd : Do you best to find out what your visitors looking for and use it as a keyword.
4th : Your "Visitor Origin" is very important when you looking for the right keyword.. ( even if they are chinese visitors )
5th : If you have high traffic domain ( at least 20 visitors per day ) you can host your domain and use simple template asking about "What your visitors looking for" ... After collecting enough answers You will have the right set of keywords to use.
--------

dubaibusinesspost.com : i think most of the visitors come from here
http://search.jayde.com/cgi-bin/search.pl?a=0&query=DUBAI
Totally great .. so use it.

It looks like you using "DUBAI real estate" or something related as a keyword.
Try to use Overture tool to find the most "DUBAI" search queries done by people..

You can do the same with "everythingvacation.com" but i prefer to find vacation terms related to where most of your visitors come from. ( USA , Asia , Europe )

With term like "vacation" , try to focus on regions more than countries.
For example .. if most of your visitors come from France , England , etc.. use Europe instead of country.

Good Luck

Thanks for the great support and guidance.
And most interesting part, I find that, those domains getting high traffic are showing top number on Jayde.com. But sad part is none of them getting clicks :'( .
Anywise I can change the keywords once again as per overture tool.
