I am Lekan(pronounced lay~kon). New to domaining and hope to find some great stuffs about domaining in here.
Oh! a question already... What do you do when the end-users you targetted dont respond to your emails?

A: novice (but i want to be an expert in domaining someday)

What would you like to specifically learn first?
how to buy a domain, domain history, best selling strategies, government policies, etc.
A: i wanna know how to get started.. specially im from the philippines if it will worked.

Are you currently working on any projects or ideas?
A: right now im jobless. ive been a technical support representative for time warner cable.

What are your short-term goals in the next year?
A: atleast i want to be earning money homebased.

What are your long-term goals in the next 5 years?
A: i want to be succesful domainer

What was your first domain you purchased?
A: not yet purchased anything..

Why did you start investing in domains? Please tell us the story.
A: im still starting. im on the process of researching..if someone can help me how i can start in this kind of business. it will be very much appreaciated.

I am not an expert, but what has worked for me is regging dot coms of real products(generic name) or services, like insurance investments etc. I would say normally start at what you know best your occupation
but lots of domainers are tech people so they probably have most names, but that doesn't mean new technologies wont be available in the future. Even so common misspells sell well, maybe geographic places, but check google first on how many people spell the typo as opposed to the correct spelling.
