Hey folks,
I don't even dare ask about this on the official WordPress forums because a) I never have any luck with their help there, and b) whenever I complain about Wordpress'es format-jumbling problem they don't know what I'm talking about or they tell me to bug-off as if it's not a real problem.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Like, when you put in two or more <br /> tags it thinks you're doing something horribly wrong and changes it back to one? Or the Wordpress WYSIWYG likes to screw up text formatting, like if you try bolding some words it puts the </ strong> tags in the wrong places and often causes horrible formatting errors that take eons to fix?
Anyone had those things before?
I hope so because it's annoying and I hope I'm not the only one dealing with it! Don't get me wrong, WordPress is one HECK of an amazing software but their WYSIWYG is crap, it makes VBulletin's and IPB's WYSIWYG editors look like top-notch stuff. If WordPress is going to have a WYSIWYG, they might as well make it work effectively - it's like they can write this totally awesome blogging/CMS software with every feature you could ask for, only they didn't do anything right with the WYSIWYG?
