Help with SEDO parking for beginner

Hello Everyone,
I am very new to domaining. I purchased about a dozen domains cheap a couple months back, and I also have a couple LLLL.coms. I have parked them with sedo because i have heard sedo is good for parking revenue. I have no clicks on my sites yet, I was wondering how long it takes for them to show up. More importantly I came here for an understanding of how parking works. Do you get paid when someone comes to your site, or do they have to click one of the links that is posted on it? Also I see some sites that make no sense have a lot of visits, and than some good key words have very little. I was wondering what the trick is to getting hits on your site. Does someone have to accidently type the name into the browser, does it come up in searches? Thanks in advance for all your help.

you only get paid when someone clicks on an ad, as far as the sites that dont seem like they would get natural traffic they probably were prior websites with lots of pre existing links that generate traffic, or people are paying for traffic which is against most parking company rules. It is almost impossible to get traffic if its not a generic name or typo that people are searching for. The key to domaining is regging names even if 3 words that people naturaly might type in there browser, if you reg a name without traffic then you have to build a site to get traffic some search engines pick up parked names but you wouldnt get a lot of traffic most likely, the key is regging names that get natural traffic even if only a few visitors a week can be profitable

it's solely based on the keywords and the domain itself, yes when they view your parked domains they need to click but don't do it yourself.
if they type it in the browser, then it has natural traffic type in browser traffic, other sources of traffic could be an old domain which you bought that are already bookmarked by other people.

ive been using sedo for 1 year with no problem, sedo really restict the source of traffic to your site, they only allow traffic from pure search engine & natural type in browser.

if your site is well established, has good serp and high paying keyword on its domain name, you can easily reach $$/day

Okay well. Maybe my sites just arent any good. The thing I dont understand is this.... I think its impossible to get to my sites without typing in the exact website into the browser. Even if I google my exact domain.com it doesnt even show! Can anyone give me any quick tips. Also on sites such as freshdropz I see off the wall domains like qyhrg.com having insane traffic, these sites could not possibly have been previous established sites. Any quick tips to help traffic would be appreciated. If I were to build a webpage but than park it, would my page still be there allowing for content, and tags?
I also know its hard to reg a good name in modern times. But, I also would like to know what kind of name to invest in second hand, what lets you know a site will be successful with traffic. Thanks for the replies so far.

Drop them. Sedo sux bigtime in revenue and they are banning and forfeiting earnings without explanation. Hit my SIGNATURE and pick some other company for higher revenue.
