It’s been more than four years since @lionel_efty and I set out on a mission to change the way domain name investors manage, market and monetize their portfolio’s. And what a ride it has been!

After a private beta with a small group of users, we decided to turn to NamePros.com in December 2014 to announce our public beta and with an open invite for anyone to sign-up and provide feedback. And feedback we got. A lot. In fact, the feedback has never stopped and it is safe to say that it is thanks to the community here that Efty transformed from our humble vision of a domain portfolio management tool into the full-fledged sales platform it is today and that we’re continuing to build for you.

Pretty much all of the new features we shipped over the past few years were build on top of the original framework that we developed for Efty back in 2014 which resulted in a somewhat bloated application that isn’t always as fast and bug-free as we like it to be and frankly, has started to look a bit tired.

That’s why we set out to completely revamp the application, streamline the menus, simplify navigation and build a responsive layout for all devices and operating systems. The result is a platform with a strong emphasis on helping you make more money, by driving more sales and better reporting.

We think it’s turning out awesome but we need some unsalted feedback before we flip the switch and roll it out to our entire userbase.

And what better place to turn for feedback than here on NamePros? The very same place we announced the first version of our platform

The new Efty is not just old wine in new bottles. We already incorporated a lot of feedback and delivered on a lot of the popular request posted by members in the many Efty threads on the forum.

With the new Efty, you can:

• Create custom categories for your marketplace (yay!)
• Rearrange the order of premium domains on your homepage
• Remove the Make Offer form from the marketplace (for your BIN domains)
• Get in-app notifications for new inquiries and transactions.
• Turn on/of logos in your marketplace or For-Sale landing pages.
• Show listings on your marketplace in chronological or alphabetical order.
• Activate two-factor authentication for added security
• Quickly see which of your domain names are under review.
• Add a Privacy Policy page and place Active Consent checkboxes on your Make Offer forms.

ok one thing I can't figure out

when I go to Premium Names and click and drag the order of the names up and down and hit "save" then I go back and view my market place, names are still in old order from when I first added them??

What am I doing wrong or not doing?

One more small bug to report :

When adding a domain, the purchase date and the renewal price are not auto-completed, as before.

So far so good on my end. Just one tiny problem. I use iPad pro almost exclusively and I cant drag and drop the Premium domains. Been using my Mac for that feature but it sure would be nice if it worked on iPad as well.

Otherwise, loving all the other changes and everything else is working fine so far.

Not sure if we can fix that but I will pass it on.

The reason could be that your marketplace still runs on the old A-record. A lot of the newer features are only supported on marketplaces that run on the new A-record which is 159.8.40.55 - let me know if this is the case with you.

this was the FIX, Thank You...Took about 5-10 mins after the change but they are now showing up in the order I set.

Minor thing but would be nice: in the 'Inquiries' section, when you click on an inquiry you get the delete option for that inquiry; might be nice to also have a 'spam' button, so that inquiry's email addy gets flagged as spam and further inquiries from that sender are blocked. For example, lately my Efty landing pages (for a few different domains, not just one) have been receiving a few spam mails from:

Not super-annoying (yet), but would be nice to have the spam option. Minor point, because I'm loving the Efty system. Great work, guys

@Bannen I think I am understanding this correctly that you are receiving spam leads from your landing pages? If so there is a clickable box that is verify in your settings of efty. If you click this box anyone who inquires will have to opt in that they did in fact inquire. The on lo y downside is if someone does and does not check verify their email you could potentially loose a good lead. It definitely has its ups and downs but using this feature would be helpful to detour some this for you if this is what is happening. I am not sure if this is what your referring to but if it is I hope it helps. Hope you have a great night. J

Really digging the fresh UX on the new site. A marked improvement on the last iteration without question.

Just a quick suggestion in the portfolio manager window - I'd love to see a "domain length" column integrated, if possible.

Nice idea - I will see if this is something we can include in a future update.

A couple small tweaks we've made based on feedback recently:

Categories in the search filter of your marketplace now rank in alphabetical order.
When you click the Edit button on a domain you're taken directly to the Marketing tab of said domain.

Just took the snapshot to share and was unable to find until I clicked the link you gave. I think there should be some prominent contrast color of bar which keeps on even the mouse on not rolling over that area. Else it looks like there are only 3 options Marketplace, Domain categories and Premium domains.

I was just trying to edit the profile for a domain that is using the lander phone call to action 3
and a different lander. The phone call to action 3, the profile did not update when i changed it.
Is the profile not editable for those landers?

That is correct, the Call To Action templates have limited editing options.

Log in, go to Portfolio, click on the domain, then click pinkish Delete button?

All you need to do is change the status of the domain name from Portfolio to Sold. When the new owner ads a domain name to his/her account that is already listed in another Efty user's account it will be placed "Under review" and they can email us proof of ownership to expedite the approval process. Once we have verified ownership the domain name will show in the new owner's account.

This is a better solution than deleting the domain name from your account because one of the cool things about Efty is being able to keep track of domains you've sold so that the system can give you insights in your financial performance etc.

My Desktop /PC view still shows old Logo and Theme Background pic.

How do I correct this?

Hi Rob, this sounds like a browser cache issue. Try a hard refresh with CTRL+F5, open the site in Incognito mode or clear your browser cache. If that doesn't do the trick please contact us with the url and we will have a look at it.
