Help required in first ever sale

Hi I recently Confirmed a sale.

i want to know what to do next. i am thinking of using paypal.

what is the general procedure.

should i ask him first to transfer the money into my paypal account?
then what next?
what is the procedure to transfer the domain to my buyer.

It all depends on size of deal and how comfortable you are with buyer.

If it is a sizable deal i would use escrow.com or some other escrow service such as sedo or afternic. they charge a % for the transaction.You can always negotiate with the buyer to cover escrow fees.

If its like a smaller sale i would go with paypal have him pay then transfer the name.

traansfer will depend on where it is reged.

1 - ask him to send $25 to your paypal account
2 - confirm that the payment has been received
3 - ask buyer to create account at your registrar, let him know to send you his new account info
4 - go into your account and push(not transfer) the domain over to his account
5 - done!
