Hello all, i have been trying to find end buyers lately. Actually been a week only.

A few hours ago i received a respond from a .info owner of my domain name:
text2imageh161132011110.jpg

He asked how much the price was

I replied what his budget was in a well written e-mail as i didn't want to scare him away.

Then he replied back:

Code:
Dear *My name*,

Sorry I don’t do business like this.
I have no idea what its worth and therefore not in position to offer a price.
I would suggest you submit your best price and I will consider this over the next few days.
Regards, *His name*

Their business is something to do with network, so i guess they could make use of this domain name.
But i am not sure of how much to offer.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

The "end user" is right. If you proactively contact someone, be prepared to ask a price.

Contacting a potential buyer, and saying "make an offer" is annoying to a buyer.

you should give an asking price. IMO asking price to be in low xxxx. He may be willing to pay high xxx.

agree

this is major flaw with many who just read the "how to spam end-users" threads.

they send out lots of letters, but have no idea what to say if they get a response.

it's not professional at all when you're not prepared to do business, especially when you're the one doing the soliciting.

i suggest for the future, that you at least write down a price range for every domain, prior to sending out any more sales letters.

still, good luck with the negotiations!

This is great news, so best of luck. I agree with the other posters - you need to respond with a price. The good news is that it can be an end user price - since they do not need to find a next customer and resell at a profit they do not need you to discount the price like a reseller would. However, that does not mean you can artificially inflate the value either. Go with what it is honestly worth. If its unique, this may be your only chance and you don;t want them to walk.
