Ok, so I buy a domain at a TDNAM closeout sale because I thought it had existing traffic, well it turns out the domain is blacklisted. I didn't think to check a blackist report. So I call Godaddy and they say there is nothing they can do and that the blacklist goes with the ip address server not the domain. Is this true?

I can't park it because it is blocked by advertisers and they won't refund my money. They say no refunds!! I don't even want the thing at this point. I know it is my fault for not checking, but I just figured that if I bought the thing and there was a problem I would get a refund.

What do you think? Will this fix itself like godaddy says,or is there something I have to do on my end.

Thanks for your advice

:)

Update

I just want to warn you that this could happen.

I emailed godaddy last night after the domain did not fix itself like they said and they send me this reply

Thank you for contacting TDNAM support. In regards to TDNAM Domain puerchases. All domains are non-refundable Per the TDNAM Agreements. At this time I'm not able to refund the domain for you. You are more then welcome to list it on tdnam for purchase if you would like. Please let is know if you have any further questions.

Regards,

Can you believe they want me to sell a blacklisted useless domain to someone else

Nice customer service

If you are Google blacklisted you can get it removed from their list but it takes a lot of time and a lot of patience. What you need to do is contact them and let them know your story.

you can still use it...make a site...let it run a while and then contact google and explain.
