Help - Can somone answer this re. Google?

I have a blog about Warren Buffett called theoracleofomaha[.]com - 'The Oracle of Omaha' is Warren Buffett's nickname, so I was pleased I managed to register the dotcom.

But there is something I don't understand. I wrote a post entitled 'Who is the Oracle of Omaha?' yet when I do a specific Google search on the phrase "who is the oracle of omaha?" my site is nowhere to be seen, even though there are only 2 pages of sites with that phrase in them.

I would have thought that having the specific phrase and also having theoracleofomaha as the URL would be very positive factors, but apparently not, can someone explain what is going on? It is driving me nuts as this is not the first time things like this have happened, is it normal or is Google singling me out for special treatment? Thanks.

That post doesn't appear to be in Google's index yet.

Go to Google and do a search on site:yourdomainname.tld to see the pages which are indexed.

Thanks. You're right it isn't in the list yet. I'm surprised it takes so long - I wrote it nearly two days ago now. Is there a standard time for getting indexed ?

It's good that you have it listed in your signature. I don't think it will take much longer. Maybe do some social bookmarking and directory submissions too.

DVD - the site is already indexed, it has been indexed for a couple of weeks already - I was just wondering about the specific post I mentioned, it still doesn't show up even though I wrote it about 3 days ago

Did you submit the site to Google and did you submit an XML sitemap to webmaster tools?

The specific post Warren Buffett Successful Investing was already indexed and you rank 115 for the term The Oracle of Omaha though not for the specific post you're talking about but your index page.

MEsa - yes I submitted the site to Google but not done a XML sitemap as every time I try I get error messages

Kryvast thanks for the info, how did you discover I am 115 for 'the oracle of omaha' ? Is there an easy way of finding out? I am now on page 1 for 'who is the oracle of omaha' but for a different post not the specific post. I can't see the post at the 115 position but maybe it's moved ?
