Hi there
I am a greeny domainer by accident from Bulgaria.

Why "by accident"? Well, I'm into the webs since... let's see 1997. An employee in an internet cafe, teacher, administrator, graphic designer, a webmaster, project manager, freelancer, now a 9-5 programmer. The thing is that I've always used to be at the other side (looking for a domain for the next project). Well... sold a blog once just to try out how I can and that's all.
For years I work in a niche. Recently amongst the other news about web etc. I found that a new top level domain, closely related to the niche, is in landrush. Of course the first thing was to alarm a manager, so that he can reserve the useful for the company ones ASAP.
Commuting home I started thinking "OK, for years I see how some people trade and how those who reacted first profited for having a good idea and using it. I know the ins and outs. I know what's hot and valuable. Why don't I...". Bought a good bunch of domains, which I think are valuable. Now I am considering how exactly to put them in the market, having in mind my lack of experience. Bought some cheap ones from Flippa and GoDaddy auctons and now I am trying out (among several I've already owned but never used), before getting to the real deals.

Welcome to NamePros @tech_noir!, great some top level domains brought you, to start the global race, dont just embrace all other new TLDs, embrace the king first or more, that will help you learn about others.
