I would like to introduce myself to this friendly community!
I have just started the whole domaining process a few weeks ago and after reading some material(everything will take years) I do have some questions and I hope you nice people could be of some assistance.
Concerning outbound mails:
In your experience, is it better to navigate future buyers to an auction on Godaddy or to just directly offer them the domain?
There is a lot of discussion on whether to approach your future buyers and tell them why a certain domain would benefit them. Is there a definite answer to this? Should I "put in a good word" for my domain and why it would benefit their business? Some people might find it intrusive in my newbie opinion.
Honestly, I think I'm a few days, maybe a week from sending my first mails. I do believe this is a marathon, not a sprint and still have much to learn.
From what I've read, I should stick to Godaddy until I have got some experience and expanded my portfolio.
How many domains does a top domainer have in his portfolio (average)?
Any tips on taking the Godaddy mail offered with the domain? (I'm not gonna use my regular Gmail) or any different mail provider good for domaining?
If I can(still learning the ropes) can I post the 3 domains I own and could you be so kind to give your honest opinion on my domains? I believe they can be sold in the low to maybe mid xxx(could be beginners optimism).
Thanks in advance and thanks for all the posts on this forum, they are golden!
Hope this is a beginning of a beautiful friendship!
