my name is Matthias, I'm from Germany and around 30 years old.

I want to apologize for my username, sorry for that. I was doing some stupid work the whole day, and to raise my mood I registered the domain why.tf which describes my attitude to that task I just have finished appropriately.

I really enjoy playing with words - sorry for my bad English - and so I can't resist to register funny domains and domain hacks from time to time.

This newly acquired domain actually is the reason I am here, because I wonder, what you think about it.

I will open a thread for this. The appraisals section could fit, I guess?

If an operator wants to change my username to a non-stupid, maybe funny, male username, I would be even more happy to take part in discussions. And yes, I like surprises, if they turn out to be enjoyable

that's a nice idea! I thought about a similar project I could realize with this domain.

Something like a rant-question/rant-answer website, where people can freely be unfriendly to stress-relieve... :D
I'm glad that I bought the domain, because this little money for hours of better mood is great! I really don't understand why.tf/the_previous/owner/dropped_it

Quite some .tf domains are used for Team Fortress (online game) websites. Not more than 200 People live in "Terres Australes Antartiques Françaises". Why... Google, why you stick to geo targeting by domain extension? :D

Why.TF was first registered 2011-12-13 and the whois data has changed seven times since then. Couldn't figure out if it is blacklisted/banned, but it doesn't sound unlikely.

Would this harm the IP-address from a Google point of view? I hope not, because I wanted to host some other projects on that.

Ehm, I think these questions might be something I should not ask in a welcome thread.
