just to make it clear for me please since im kinda slow of a person..

the name was avail a couple of days back with $500 regfee/renewal tag on it. right? it had been avail since the tld went live. no one wanted it. then you regged it which made it worth $100k+ up from $500 in a matter of minutes. right?
then in two days after you regged it there came $10,000 offer from "a geniune chinese gentleman heavily investing in domains". and then another one at $8,000 from another genuine gentleman of unknown nationality. is that the correct timeline?

As I stated, eye.surgery is a MUCH more commercial name (which is why it's priced at 4K a year vs 500). Heart surgery is not really an elective procedure and the cash roundabout is predominantly managed by hospitals, doctors and hospitals all through relationships that are managed outside of commercial avenues.

I don't see anyone paying you much for it especially when a decent comparable is heartvalvesurgery.com which is a business around a story rather than being directly related to the op itself. Give that heartsurgery.com is a parked page you have to wonder what kind of offer has been made in the past. If your name is worth $100K then what value the .com? And if money is so available, where's that big offer prying it out of the hands of the owner there? What about the .net? Can only presume nothing major has been forthcoming to them.

Could you make money? Sure. Will you make what you hope? No. Will you spend $1500 finding out? Depends on how brave you are.

I'll offer you $50,000 for it right now. You'll never see the money and I'll never have the domain... but it's an offer

There was a reason I asked if you had checked renewals in the other thread and the evaluation from Giles and Kate kind of hint at that....

wouldn't even take the 50K at this point ... I spent far more then 1500 investing buddy and some of the real domaines here know that ... appreciate the comments but 10K was the highest offered a this point and it was genuine from a vip member here so even if the scammer wasted money for a membership "which I really doubt" It wouldn't be that difficult to find out who he is with Who

Jesus what's with all the comedians ? Lmao. You're telling me Autism.Rocks can sell for 100K and Heart.Surgery can't sell for 100K or what about Tube.Webcam which sold for $175,000. There just names so why would they be worth any more ? Autism.Rocks... It's almost a negative emotion name. Just say it out loud. Someone would call you a sick minded person. I like the name but I think you're overvaluing it myself. However its your domain and you can price it whatever you like. Regardless of it not being a dot com, if you owned Cosmetic.Surgery, your prices would make sense to a lot of people here. Also remember the registry isn't going release an ultra premium name for peanuts. If it's worth 5-6 figures like you say it is, they would certainly keep the name and auction it off themselves.

When you get offers of $10k just after registering a name, its almost always a scam, I see people posting them on here all the time, straight after grabbing a name, surely you have to be suspicious of this, when there are domainers on here who have decent names from the 90's and still don't get offers on them?? c'mon, what are the chances of this happening...try replying to the email and see what they say when you agree on a price

You're right, I haven't.. But if you post in an appraisal forum, expect to hear good and bad. They aren't "knocking down" investors.. They're giving opinions when asked to give opinions.
