Have you done your HIV test this year?

Many people think to do not be at risk even if they are not drug users or they are virgin or they do not have sex without protections.

Is it worth it the risk to find too late that you got infected?

I advice everyone to have a test , possibly every year so that IF the result won`t be good , at least you`ll have more chances to live longer, even 20 or 30 years these days, plus you`ll avoid to infect your partner or other persons by mistake.

Please read this news , but be aware that there is an image of a person having a blood test, so if you don`t like to see a needle then don`t open the link below.

Get tested, atleast every so often, REGARDLESS of your "lifestyle". Not doing so may leave you with a shorter one than you're willing to face. "I didn't think I was at risk" needn't be something you'll be saying from your deathbed.
I trust my spouse enough not to get tested. She trusts me enough. We are willing to take "the risk" by not getting tested because the risk for us is virtually nil. Stating that everyone should get tested is an emotional statement not based on facts.
OK, you win (or atleast you do so long as you do nothing in life that may put you at risk)! But, I know very few folks live life that safe. As to it being an "emotional statement not based on facts": 1) I get emotional about issues, no denying that fact - I'm human, after all. But, I'm one of the least "emotional" people you'll know (comes with my territory). 2) Like I stated, I've seen way too many people who thought they weren't at risk for such either........It is, however, your life we are talking about; so, feel free to live it as you choose in that regard. I, for one, care to see old age and am not nieve enough to think for one second that every person that I've handled or every "professional" that has handled me is themselves 100% safe 100% of the time. I care to not ever have to be told that "that little incident a few years back" is now going to cost me my life. I've provided counseling to too many folks in this situation (informally, as it is not my specialty, mind you), and been there too many times when they were told that. :(

I thought we already had enough kids signed-up here :hehe: A good thing here: He is being born "into" a domainer family, so he'll have the advantages of not having to later say "If I only knew back then they could become so valuable." :) I'm sure, RJ, like us all, will welcome him/her with open arms :tu: Have you already thought of possible names for both a boy and a girl? Need to reg them fast
