Hi,
In the past two months I've been emailed twice by different people acting on behalf of clients requesting placing adverts on my websites. The adverts and how much I got paid for them are as follows (I wont specify the websites, but the adverts were all poker related)
one of my websites gets around 70-120 uniques/day, 3000-4000 hits/day, it's PR2, I charged $50 to add a one word link into one of the items I reviewed (there's about 40 pages on the site so it doesn't impact much really). They asked me to offer a price so I suggested that price...
then just recently I had another email from someone who is going to put a 1 sentence advert on 3 pages of a relatively small site I have (~50 uniques/day, PR2, one of the pages is PR3). They initially offered $120/year for this, then I asked for $200/year and they accepted that.
I was wondering if you could shed some light onto whether those were good deals or if I should have got a lot more for them... the fact they accepted when i requested $200 rather than $120 got me thinking..
Either way, I'm a student so any money's welcome really lol, just it would be good to have your opinions for future reference
Robin
