This redirect scenario described in the above posts is such a major Public Relations point. Maybe THE major point. Just go right to the heart of com and other tlds. It is a competitive world. Go do battle and expect to dominate. The internet is evolving, the mobile revolution is happening and a possible new "top dog" is being birthed. The opportunity is here... now! As marketers, mTLD need to step it up a notch and promote the advantages inherent in .mobi in relation to the changing and increasingly mobile internet. Perhaps they need some new creative thinking. Throw out the seemingly stale approach and refresh!!! Maybe they should directly consult with a few players floating around this forum! And not just every few months via a forum Q and A session! Usually the Ivory Tower Syndrome creates restrictive thinking. One thing for sure though... Pinky needs to get put to task with some direct questioning and solid observation from some folks in the field, in a nice way of course. Hopefully he will enlighten us as to what might be happening behind the scenes. I feel they need to turn up the heat on this "slow burn" approach. Just MHO.
