Yeah I saw that mate, I was wondering the same thing. I would have asked for a little more if I thought it was Apple. :xf.smile:

Agree, unless the seller was unaware of the real buyer? I'm not sure how Apple acquire domains..

I did wonder why domains were being snapped up like GlassesPorn.com, GlassesGames.com etc.....I suppose if Glasses will replace the mobile then it would be the equivalent of having MobilePorn.com and MobileGames.com 🤔

You can still have iGlassesPorn.com, iGlassesGames.com etc :xf.wink:

I think it will just be games, porn etc in the end anyway.

I think it kinda undersold.

The smart glasses space is hot and constantly evolving, and the value of quality 'glasses' domains, especially those with single character prefixes like 'iGlasses', 'xGlasses' etc, will only continue to rise.

I wouldn't be surprised if this one was snagged by one of the investors.

When you have a name and someone is offering good money you hand it over to a professional.

What does that mean? We can’t handle our own offers or we must take the first offer? I personally think they undersold by alot.

Yeah, with some names I certianly would, but with a name like that where I had 1 "big" buyer I was waiting for, I would quite happily sell it myself and save on broker commission. its not hard to stick to your price :xf.smile: If it was Apple that bought it via a broker, he certainly left money on the table here. Apple mainly use CSC Corporate Domains and don't use privacy so it doesnt look like its them.

It doesn't look like the whois info has been updated yet, plus if it is an Apple buy and they are yet to disclose the 'iglasses' brand they might be keeping things under privacy for now?

Last updated 27th August so I presume this has not been moved to the buyers account?......especially if the sale of iglasses.com has just been reported to dnjournal?

It will be interesting to see over the coming days/weeks to see what happens to the whois info

No worries, didnt even look at the date :xf.smile: I know some sales can get reported a month after they sold and then appear on DNJ so wasnt sure. Anyway, will be interesting to see.

I think whoever has bought the domain has a great brand on their hands, especially with the AR tech that is emerging!

It was mentioned in Ron Jackson’s blog yesterday that the seller of this name is a 20 plus yr seasoned vet who had 2 big other sales the same week so not a novice decision.
