Has anyone had this happen!!!

I recently sent a domain to auction at Sedo. I wrote out a couple of informative paragraphs in the description and started the auction. I took a look and now only the first 2 lines are showing!! Do you look at this when viewing sedo auctions? Do you think potential bidders care about info in the description? I don't think there is any way to get the full description back now it's at auction so I'm pretty pissed off if this is going to affect the auction.

What did you write about? I cant think about a couple of paragraphs to write about any of my domains with. I think the buyers are looking at the name and nothing else. IMHO

Mine shows up in 15 lines. It's all domain names.

That description doesn't do much marketing because buyers will do their research before bidding your domain.

That description box acts as an advertising means for other domains you have.

you can change a description once it is in auction- but, it will change the description of all your domains at the same time-

go to another domain and alter the description to what you want, and click yes to have it done to all your domains- it will also change the one at auction

Thank's for that Dottie but that would also change the other one I have on auction too.

I think that if someone is bidding on your name they know what it could be used for. At least I would....

len- i have done this with multiple names on auction-

On Auction Now!
Name # - description

Also on Sedo auction!
Name #2- description

this may prompt someone seeing the one name to look at the other-

then after auction i do a mass edit to all the names showing all my names for sale again-

i read the descriptions- many times there is useful info in there
