So, I got a domain name - that I thought was a perfect fit for BrandBucket - rejected. This is fine of course. But it made me wonder how much of that reflects on the quality of the domain name?

So the question is, has any of your domain names rejected by BB gone on to do well in spite of the earlier rejection?

Absolutely yes! Don't take a BB rejection as a sole measure of the worth of a domain name. When I started in brandables I had a number rejected at BB (and felt crushed at the time). However, I knew the names were good, but just not suited to BB's target audience (in their estimation anyway).

I kept most names and they went on to sell on other marketplaces, especially Afternic. The selling price for those domains was close to, or more than, I would have expected a BB list price to be. So consider BB just one marketplace and not the only marketplace.
