Today we're celebrating Israel's 67th birthday ! It is extremely fascinating to see the progress this young country has made in 67 years. One of the most developed technology industries, breakthrough medical solutions, futuristic cities right beside 4,000 years aged cities. I can name many more achievements and records, the list can go on and on.. But i'm here to share with you something interesting you might have not known..

Only yesterday we had the "Day of Remembrance for the Fallen Soldiers of Israel and Victims of Terrorism" or in short "Israel's Memorial Day". only yesterday I was mourning over 2 close friends of mine, whom I lost only 6 months ago.. all of them were 20 years old, at most. SOLDIERS of the Israeli Defense Force, such as I am.
They fall in The 2014 Israel–Gaza conflict, also known as Operation Protective Edge. Too young to die.. never to be grown. they died by defending our people, our motherland.

A bit funny isn't it?
24 hours after Israel's Memorial Day we're celebrating our independence. Many families who lost their most dear sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, husband and wives, are now supposed to be celebrating their country independence day, the very same reason why they won't be seeing their beloved ones ever again.
In my opinion this is the reminder why our heros have left us to a better place. For our independence.
