Let's see who can acquire the best .COM hand registration during the month of March? "Best" will be determined by your peers. You have to create it during the month of March 2019. As long as it says created 03-2019 it could have been a name born before that died and lost its age. Let me be clear, for this March contest the name has to be a new DOT COM hand reg that you own.

Here are the rules of this DOT COM HAND REG MARCH 2019 contest:

1. Hand registration during the month of March 2019.
2. You may submit up to 7 domain names. (Each name submitted must have it's OWN Reply post).
3. So if you want to submit 7 names, submit SEVEN separate Reply posts.
4. I am excluding myself from entering the contest, since I am facilitating the event!
5. The Top 20 Finalist will be selected the following way .---> (10) "Likes" entries with the most "Likes" in the thread and (10) Wildcard entries selected by a team of 5 panelist from the NamePros community. The 5 panelist will be announced after month end to avoid mid-month lobbying. Additionally, the 5 panelist (Wildcard pickers) will be be non-participants in the contest to avoid a conflict of interest and will be respected NPros members that have a wealth of experience in domaining. The panelist members will be a familiar lot.
6. The WINNER will be selected by your peers via a TOP 20 POLL from the Top 20 Finalist mentioned above.
7. The TOP 20 POLL will occur at the end of the month. This will be a 72 hour poll.
8. We welcome EVERYONE to participate in selecting the WINNER from the Top 20 Finalist list.
9. In the event of a TIE during with winner polling, the tie-breaker will go to the WINNER with the earlier submission posted to this thread. (a plan to avoid any misunderstand should a tie occur)

TOP 20 Finalist
  • Finalist Pick 10 - those 10 names with the most "likes" make it to the Top 20 (user involvement).
  • Finalist Pick 10 - those 10 names that a panel selects make it to the Top 20 (panel involvement).
  • Top 20 Poll - this involves everyone, but only for a 72 hour window at month end (ALL involvement).

What do you win?

  • Number one, props and recognition here at Namepros.
  • I will personally pay $20 JACKPOT (via PayPal) to the WINNER.
  • Anyone wishing to contribute an additional $0.30 to the Jackpot - contact me via PM - and I will add your contribution on top of the $20 Jackpot I have committed (let's see how large a Jackpot we can build).

* Sponsors welcome. Send me a PM.

JACKPOT UPDATE:

* The JACKPOT is now at $200 Total + 1 Efty Growth subscription

Hello All,

Could you please advise which one is better customshoedesign.com or legalshoes.com ?

Your feedback will be highly appreciated ?

Regards,

Puneet

@puneet -

Appreciate your question, but this is a Contest thread for submissions to a contest, not a valuation thread.

Making a choice on either one would imply favoritism towards one of the Entries. That is what the "Likes" portion of the contest is for - to narrow down submissions to a Top 20 Finalist pool.

Please ask someone via DM for a response to your question or try a Valuation thread.

Thanks,

-Cougar

Sorted ALPHABETICALLY by Domain Name

The attached report is interesting. As you look through the list, you get a glimpse into topics that draw investor interest.

Some of the current topics of interest - a great snapshot of current topics.
  • Blockchain
  • Business
  • Design
  • Green
  • Holo
  • Media
  • Privacy
  • Security
  • Smart
  • Wallet
  • XR

It seems like only recently we were registering (and going deep) on topics like...
  • Shop
  • E-commerce
  • Web
  • Money
  • Books

In my view - domainers are asset investors.

For anyone new to domain investing, I hope this report provides you a preview into what topics are currently active in the market and a few that don't seem to draw as much attention these days. I have been looking at the "Likes" voting and industry clusters this morning. Many of the members voting are seasoned portfolio managers. Their voting is insightful and worth consideration when expanding your portfolio .

I hope you find this report as useful as I did.

-Cougar

ps: Thanks again for your contributions and generously sharing your expertise!

Sorted by "LIKES" voting

Below is a sample of what is included in the attached "Likes" Report.

upload_2019-3-17_10-28-59.png

The "Likes" voting for Entries is provided on this thread by the NamePros community and (at month end) the Top 10 on the list will automatically be added to Top 20 Finalist Round.

You will notice a few NP members have an eye for finding good Hand Regs and have multiple Entries in the current Top 20 "Likes" Chart. A skill in its own.

I have decided to spotlight a few of these members in this thread. I have started to post "Participant Spotlights" in this thread over the past 7 days to share their thoughts with everyone. More are in the queue to follow .

I think you will like the "Spotlight" pieces as each individual shares a bit about their domaining background, the sites & tools they use, the current industry sectors they see as promising, along with a little advise for those new to the business.

I hope you enjoy the attached "Likes" report and the upcoming "Spotlight" posts..

The "Spotlight" program appears to be popular. Glad everyone is enjoying them.

While reviewing the current Contest Summary by "Likes" Report earlier this week, I noticed a few Participants had more than one Entry in the Top 50 ranking. It appears they have an eye for finding solid Hand Regs and the audience is posting "Likes" to those Entries. Congrats!

This got me thinking that I should start a "Spotlight" program in this thread, so we could learn a little bit about their domaining journey and ask them to share a few insights with us..

This will be our 6th Spotlight post and our guest this morning is: @martbele

I think you will like the "Spotlight" program this month as each individual shares a bit about their domaining background, the sites & tools they use, the current industry sectors they see as promising, along with a little advise for those new to the business.

It's a mini-interview series of 4-5 direct questions and I hope you enjoy this piece. (see below).

-Cougar

- FYI -

As a heads up to those following this thread -

@Radu054 won the Crystal Ball Challenge (please see Post # 353 on Page # 15) and has been awarded (15) additional Entries to this month's contest because of his sweeping success with the challenge questions.

CONGRATS!

I mention this for the audience in case someone happens to notice the unusual volume of Entries he is submitting and raises a flag.

The only flag being waved... is a victory flag and congratulations toast for his success with the challenge questions.

Thought I would mention a congratulations to @Radu054 for his success and also to help avoid any confusion with his extended submissions allowance.

Please join me with individual Congratulation posts...

-Cougar.
