Hi USE, yeah im afraid you just missed the deadline, however I hav'nt had a reply from the winner yet, i'll give it until tomorrow then i'll re-auction the domains if I dont hear anything.

thanks. i don't know the rule exactly, if the current winner doesn't respond, you should do a re-auction or should give it to the second winner, actually, not me.

what i want to point out is the use of GMT as a deadline. when you said 8pm GMT, it doesn't always mean 8pm UK time. it isn't even 8pm in Greenwich at 8pm GMT. ironic, isn't it? 8pm UK time last night was BST, and it was still 7pm GMT when you declared the auction was closed.

during this summer (Daylight Saving Time - Sunday 28 March 2010 until Sunday 31 October 2010), the current clocks are on British Summer Time (BST). The UK is ONLY on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) from Sunday 25 October 2009 until Sunday 28 March 2010. And will start again Sunday 31 October 2010 this year.

please correct me if i'm wrong. i don't live in the UK, nor have i been there. i wouldn't know how it exactly works, but we use GMT a lot as a basis of our multinational transactions for my business here. i also quote this from various sources, including the official GMT website GMT: Greenwich Mean Time - World Time / Time in every Time Zone
