I didn't see an official thread for .GY domains so I thought I would start one. I recently purchased my first .GY domain. I tend to like ccTLDs versus gTLDs.

My first .gy purchase was QK.gy

I don't think there is much "demand" for end-user, but for a domain investor, I think there is profit in most 2L and 2N domains regardless of what is rotd.

But it does look like their reg fee are pretty high, similar to .io extension . The only thing that registrar for them are limited.

6 of the .gy domains sold in 2015. Maybe if I don't ask for thousands of $$$ then I might sell it in a month too.

oh. But still this $34 domain can be sold for a few hundreds that's why I regged it.

Definitely. It doesn't really matter what extension with LL and NN domains. They have value over reg fee.
Also, I feel very good about ccTLD over gTLD. Some gTLD might have trouble later I read. Country cannot fail.
