I typed it in and nothing comes up google cant find it
wouldnt even pay the reg fee for it,but that doesnt mean you cant develop it.
It also was created on May 16 so it is 3 days old.

I didn't say that i own it since 6 years or that it was never dropped.
I said it has an age of 6 years. Proof is wayback machine.
So, is it 3 days old? yes and no!
Of course never dropped DNs and those with PR, Backlinks, etc. are better.
But even such a History (even if dropped) is not totally Worthless comparing to brand new Domain Names regged for the first time with absolutely no history. At least, that was my experience in sales.

I am afraid, when I read something like 'nothing comes up google cant find it'!!! I knew its a lie because even if you type some random letters google will return atleast few thousand pages!

Out of curiosity, I did search google and the results are:

'carsaudio': 48,500
'cars audio': 29,200,000
'car audio': 86,400,000

Estibot Appraisal:

carsaudio .net : $100
TheStockBroker .net : $0 (considering traffic $20 only)

I am not an expert here, probably experienced domainer will appraise it soon. All the best.

no need to be so general and fill with content that the main key word is car audio and the name is clear enough that the visitors knows what is it about

Yes, good point, development opens a world of options, but I don't give much weight to potential when appraising names because potential is easy to hand reg. For example, a car audio entrepreneur could hand reg caraudioamps.net. Exact phrase 'car audio amps' has more keyword search (3600 vs 1300) and cpc ($1.27 vs $0.70) than 'cars audio' per adwords tool (english us). Develop content exactly matching the keywords, then upsell cd/mp3/speakers etc. Bottom line: beware hand reg alternatives when appraising 'potential'.

Ecalc, most of your statements are really convincing! Thanks. However, i am not sure about the age. Some people who established websites with such DNs (those without backlinks , after Drops, etc.) say that Google sometimes rank such 5,6,7 year old DNs much better and faster than totally new DNs. However, maybe there were some other factors which they overlooked. I am not sure. Anyway, thanks!

Im not liking the fact that it has an "s" on Car, if it was .com perhaps but being a .net on top of the "s" factor I cant see much value without dev. and or traffic.
