It's a common financial term. Also, apparently, there's Marvin Grossworth (of which I've never heard until I registered the name and then googled) - a writer whose books are sold on Amazon.

no infringement problem it would be like mr carpenter taking legal action over carpenter.com
...re the domain name I doubt if anybody refers to their gross worth, so limited reg value here.

Upon further investigation, the guy's last name is Grosswirth, it's misspelled at Amazon as Grossworth. That's not the point anyway.
The name was registered as financial term.

I also love "net worth" (over 2M Google results) but only 500 results for "gross worth" on Google... it isn't really that common a term for expressing ... net worth. But possible value if branding is done.
