Damn, so it is ok to buy human names and sell them, imagine if it was TigerWoods.com Bill, hehe. Who here was fortunate enough to actually secure their own name.com?

I have mine BUT I had to opt for my middle initial.

I had an idea a few years ago when I bought (lucked out) with mykidsname.com that a registrar/brokerage dedicated to Peoples Names would do quiet well, simply because of the 'Vanity' factor. Any thoughts? has anyone actually done it? What would the base price for JohnSmith.com be? I say $5000.

Thanks for the reply. My next question is do you happen to have a generic template for when you contact individuals and offer their name domain for sale?

No Bill, I think a touchy subject like this would require a carefully crafted approach for each potential client. Example; If I had JohnSmith.com I would research (stalk) all the John Smiths that 'appear' to have vanity and money. I would then tailor each proposal for each JohnSmith.
