Would be hard to cover such a broad topic tbh.

Covering brand names needs a deep understanding of language(s), phonetics and sound symbolism. Not forgetting the visual appeal of letter formations.

This is why just looking at keyword lists (although often effective), is not adequate in creating great brand names.

Great tips, but what if you can't find a name like TennisBalls.com. The creative domainer will take his difficult name, and try to boost it. Take ManhattenDojo.com for example - the creative seller will invent a new cocktail ( Manhatten is a well known one) using Japanese liqueurs instead of Whiskey. He could call this a Manhatten Dojo, and offer free listings to all restaurants selling it. Get a couple of girls to dress as Sumo wrestlers and sip it elegantly in a Japanese tea garden. Can you imagine the possible sales lines - does your cocktail taste like a Sumo jockstrap - try one of our smooth ands fruity Manhatten Dojo cocktails.

* The domain name is very important for any business and it should be easy to remember without much punctuations.

* It should be unique and related to business.

* It should be short and catchy.

* If it is of universal accepted TLD's like .com,.biz,.info is more advantageous.

In choosing the registrar also one should be very careful.The registrar should be reliable and provide services at affordable cost.I chose Tucktail.com since the cost is low when I get the domain registration and hosting as a package from them.
