Curious what all the experts in here think Graduates.com is worth.

I purchased this back in 2003 and currently run an alumni website there similar to Classmates.com. It's a free site and gets 367k uniques (probably a lot of bots) per month and 700k pageviews. As it lists many schools in the world it has 4.7M indexed pages.

0. No companies are approaching you because of a functional live website.

1. Put a banner that "This website is for sale" (in some creative words). Show indicative price of $100,000.

2. Most people will ignore it because of your high expectations, but soon you will start getting 5 digit offers.

3. Collect at least 5-10 offers data.

4. Then decide a price. Contact back the offers makers. Deal!

5. Do not forget to send us a photo of your vacations.

Thanks for the advice @andNames . I'm still attempting to sell the entire business intact vs. just the domain. The site still gets traffic and has around 1 million registered members. Ad revenue has declined a LOT in the last two years though. I'll probably do as you say if I find no buyers for the entire package.

Almost a million registered members? OK...I might have undervalued the name then because NP crossed 1 million members last year and it uses a brandable name.


I'd be asking 6 figures, you're bringing a lot of additional value besides the obvious premium aspects of Graduates.com.

You shouldn't forward it to a lander. Put a forsale banner on your main page.
