domain Blogster.com Appraisal

Myself and my partner bought http://blogster.com in 2005 when the site was a mess code-wise, we paid 100K for it and built new code and added many new registered members, 30K. The site gets about 5-6k uniques a day. Recently I have decided to sell the domain and the developed site along with shopblogster.com, blogster.net and moblogster.com as a package. I went to Moniker for an appraisal and they said 700K and I asked Sedo and they said 500K. A lot of people over at Sitepoint have been laughing at us and our appraisals. I will probably list it in the Moniker Live Auction in March if there aren't any serious bids in the next week or so. I'm looking for your feedback as to what you guys think would be realistic potential when selling it.

Great name, but how much revenue does it make...and how? 30K new members is okay, but not huge, so revenue is important for figuring the price.

Revenue is small, when we had it appraised they said it was for the domain name only.

I would say 5000 uniques a day is really good and looking at the side bar it says tehre were a few people updating in the last 5 minutes and it's 12 at night! To have that many members and not even advertise (haven't seen advertisements) that is really good also the domain is really easy to remember.

I would say $200, 000 - $300, 000

I think it could be worth more if you could manage to get the PR5 it has now to PR6.
