$99 seems reasonable for this domain, but I have done no research on it's age, traffic, etc..

First instinct is to counter offer a reasonable amount as most first offerers are prepared for a counter. Good luck.

I think its a 300 dollar name, and a good domain name as well.

I would just counter it, even though 99 seems pretty reasonable.

If they can pay $99, can't they pay $200? $99 sounds like a very average price or a bargain.

Whether or not you take the offer has to do with your own threshold for risk.
This is not a very good name. It's a mashup of two distantly related words producing a term that no one searches directly for. It may have some developed brand viability, but the phraseology in question is not very strong.

If you want to "hold out" for a better price on this name using the flimsy logic as proposed above (IF HE CAN PAY $100 THEN HE CAN PAY $200! AND IF HE CAN PAY $200, HE CAN CLEARLY PAY $500!!...) you're risking losing the sale. Of course, you might make a few extra bucks... Your call.

If I saw this name on drop available for reg, I wouldn't even consider it, so if you think it's worth so much more, well, good luck to you.

Too many lower level domain resellers fall into the trap of "ZOMG SOMEONE WANTS IT, WHICH MEANS IT'S OBVIOUSLY WORTH MORE THAN THEY'RE OFFERING!!!" and wind up missing a sale and holding onto a piece of crap name. Sometimes, a name is worth precisely what a buyer is offering. Usually, in cases of domains like this, the name is actually worth *less* than what's being offered but in their excitement and greed, they hold out for more...

Agree 100%.... If the name were mine, I would be very happy to get $20 for it..

wealth.com is going for auction soon, for around 3-4 million usd, so this domain worth more after the sale may be.

This usually shouldn't correlate, and in this case, doesn't. I agree with the post saying that 99 is a great offer for this domain.
