It'll be interesting to see what they're building.
Maybe something in the crypto space given their .xyz purchase?
Maybe a Domain Parking Platform? j/k

Every time I see/hear his name I think about Epik and what and how much he knew at the time.

Well, you could ask me…
I knew what everyone else knew. I knew that I had escrow deals that were not getting paid out. I tried to do what I could but had little influence since leaving the Board. What you may not know is that I invested a lot of $$ in Epik many years ago and have lost 100% of that investment.

I appreciate your response.

The time frame I was referring to was in the period that led up to you leaving. Both in posts here and in some exchanges I had with epik related people at the time, it seems the 'departure' was brewing for a period of time (heated exchanges, etc).

I'm sure a lot had to do with the extreme right wing element that Rob seemed to be courting...I was just wondering if there was any sign of financial improprieties before the wheels came off.

BTW, I hope you got some money back through one avenue or another...it was shared that you had made a significant contribution as an angel investor.

ADD: Congrats on the sale!

I knew of no financial improprieties. Perhaps there were some, but I certainly wasn’t informed nor did I notice anything wrong with the books when I was receiving them. The issue for me was the far right and racist position that Epik was taking. I don’t want any part of that. Despite my urging, Epik leaned into that kind of content.
As for my investment, I received nothing - other than heartache and people accusing me of having something to do with the mess over there.

Congratulations on your sale, @Braden Pollock!

Could you share how you acquired the domain and your thoughts when pricing it?

It’s a really fun name, and a tricky one to appraise.

Gosh!

Tagline could be, “The polite version of what you really wanted to say.“ 😅
