Wow, I am shocked because I own Arabic.tv and kind of forgot about it until I read this. Never got any offers for the name but this should help.

You're perfectly right on that point.

Look at the Google Trends graph for .mobi alone over the last 12 months :

It's a fact that the .mobi TLD has been doing very badly over recent times. It's definitely not good news when I see on .mobi Marketplace (here on NP) some people putting 2000 .mobi domains for sale in a single thread...

The problem is that .mobi was completely speculation-driven (with too much hype and very little development), while .tv has always been development-driven.

The fact that there are so many great developed .tv sites that average people are using more and more often has helped raising .tv awareness and increasing .tv domains' value.

Unfortunately, iPhone killed the Mobi.

Still, if people don't believe that's the case I've got some good mobis and I can do a great deal right now! Just let me know.
