Google keyword tool question I am trying to understand.

Looking for some help and determining the difference on the Google keyword tool.

Example when I do a search for a keyword and have the [Exact] box checked it gives me the monthly searches done but when I have the “Phrase” box checked it seems to always give me a much higher number.

Can anyone explain to me what the difference is in plain English please ?

i don't know what the difference exactly but as many gurus told, always do your research by exact match keyword.

Broad includes anything with the search term. For instance if I searched "Loan Service" it would include any search that included the words "Loan" and/or "Service", regardless of order or position in regards to one another.

Exact would include only searches of "Loan Service."

Phrase would include any search that included the words "Loan Service" in the correct order with other words. (ie. "Reputable Loan Service" or "Loan Service Finder" would both be included).

exact means these very keywords in these very order with no other keywords added to the beginning or end.
for example "golden rings" is exact search for "golden rings" keyword, while "beautiful golden rings" is a phrase search for
"golden rings" keyword

exact keyword are not so helful as compared to pharse keywords..
always use phrase keywords with high global ranking and low competition in the seo of your post..!
