Google index

Hey all,

This is really weird and I don't understand it much, however, when I lunched my new site, it has gotten 35 indexes on google. Now, yesterday, only 32 pages were indexed and today, I looked and only 23 pages are indexed.

I am not doing any less advertising, in fact, my website has gotten 2x the traffic these few days; can that be the problem? :p

I just don't want it to keep going down. I've even submitted my sitemap.xml which has 492 pages, into google.com/webmasters

Holy crap! it just went up to 103 indexed pages... this is weird, but I'm liking it :p

I think for new sites, it keeps changing. You need to wait for some more days to see the stable result. Urls submitted thru sitemap will not reflect immediately.
The crawler has got its own schedule - when and which page to crawl.

This thread would be suitable for "Search Engines" category.

Plus there are differen google datacenters. You could have just checked one of the centers. Keep working on your site and you'll see more pages indexed.

I experienced this with my new site. I found after a couple of weeks it settled down. I also used googles sitemaps tool, which i think helped.
