Google Finally Acquires the Domain AndroidTV.com

Google has finally acquired the domain name AndroidTV.com

Google lost a UDRP on the domain name back in March 2014 after the panel said the dispute was outside the types of disputes the UDRP was set up for.

In April 2014 Google announced that they were launching a product called Android TV.

Google did in fact launch Android TV and has been using the domain name Android.com/tv.

The domain name was updated over the weekend and Google is now the registrant of the domain at the brand protection company MarkMonitor.com
