I wouldnt be too sure - i would say it will be out in the coming few months as the setup is mostly done already - a friend of a friend is working on the project and he has sent a few emails out already and all it contains is an ad in the footer of each email sent out.

I think this will be very benficial in the long run of Google and wouldnt mind picking up a few shares myself
